We interview some of our favourite local artists, post weekly guest playlists comprised of Vancouver artists and ‘Last Week in

Music’ highlights some of the concerts happening around the city..

Day Two was a busy day for the festival, with the conference/seminars portion also beginning. (I sat in on part of Grant Lawrence's "Making Friends With The Media" and saw a VIAwesome #BreakOutWest twitter post in a room full of people and tried to control myself...). The performances at night had me literally running (in heels) to get between sets, and I managed 6 shows in 4 hours. Day Two included: The Zolas, Adaline, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, We Are The City, You Say Party, and The Dudes (which turned into an after party for everyone in town!)
