Have you ever seen the large tree that sits at the foot of Bidwell on Beach Avenue in the West End? Typically around this time of the year it encapsulates the holiday spirit and brings light to English Bay but this year whoever is responsible for decorating it (the parks board?) has gone over the top and added these crazy motion lights that make it look as if the tree is one big, trippy flashback from the Celebration Of Light fireworks celebration.
