When we get weather like this in Vancouver, the city is absolutely beautiful - that it happens on a weekend, better still. This reality is the driving force behind today's photograph by TravelsWithDan. A simple photo in composition and colour, it is a welcome sight here during a somewhat unpredictable spring.
But the title provides a little more detail: 191-365 What a difference a day makes. Another photo-a-day project, which are a little like New Year's Resolution Gym Memberships: popular in January, but many fall off by February. But when you see people keep up the commitment past the half-way mark, you know they are determined. And a brief look at Dan's 365 project on Flickr reveals that only the two latest entries take place in Vancouver: the prior 189 entries document an epic 189-day travel excursion through 14 countries!
