Pepsi Youth Music Movement

Remember the Pepsi Refresh Project that we told you about a while back? It's a program where Pepsi was (and still is!) looking for individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations with ideas that will have a positive impact on their communities.
Remember the Pepsi Refresh Project that we told you about a while back? It's a program where Pepsi was (and still is!) looking for individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations with ideas that will have a positive impact on their communities. You submit your idea and then it's put in front of your peers, voted for online and ultimately funded if it garners enough support. One of the ideas that rose to the top of the pile is called Youth Music Movement. It's a group of 4 passionate, fresh-out-of-school cultural aficionados from Québec who hope to give budding young musicians their first big break. They were granted $25,000 to go out on the road from May 1 to July 31 - manning a mobile recording and film studio - producing a sound recording and a video for 12 young Canadian musicians on the cusp of making it big... for FREE. They're coming to Vancouver on July 11th to record The Broadway Bullies, who you can learn more about HERE. We'll share what they produce for them after the fact but they're on the road RIGHT NOW so leading up we'll bring you a couple videos they've already made on their cross Canada adventure. Below is a Boxer the Horse video for the song Diver that they shot and recorded at The Alibi in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
