Every day we share a single photo from our Flickr Pool shot by one of our faithful and talented readers (that’s you!)

As someone who practices an artistic medium that depends upon the availability of natural light, I am pretty excited that we have some to enjoy as of late. And I know that by no means am I the only one - we are all like moths in a way, attracted to light. A big difference between photographers and moths - once a photographer finds a source of light, they don't smash their heads into it. Well, most of us don't, anyway.

Dan Fairchild had his eyes open and camera ready when he spotted a composition that was made possible by a nice source of strong, directional light and the resulting deep shadows. A fairly mundane location made interesting by its shapes and forms being sculpted by wonderful natural light.
