With 26,487+ artists, boasting 121,949+ tracks, the CBC Radio 3 web site is the absolute ultimate authority, and the home, of independent music in Canada. With that massive library along with tools for members (free to join!), we’re taking advantage of what they’ve set up by bringing you a fresh batch of music every week featuring local groups who have tracks (entire albums, even!) on the R3 site.
If you follow VIAindie posts you've definitely seen and heard of Rococode...well it just so happens that this wonderful band is playing a show with other VIAindie favourites Elias and The Belle Game next week (Aug 18) at the Electric Owl. So we asked them to pick some of their favourite songs by Vancouver artists and they came back with a stellar 16-song playlist. And it just so happens that each artist on this list is either a band that they have played IN or members that they have played with.
No wonder they're so awesome.
