It seems that summer just arrived, and yet the days are already starting to get shorter. Well, that's not entirely true; the days started getting shorter the day after the solstice, but you know what I mean. We've already lost an hour since then, but the days have been spectacular.

The flip-side to shorter days, however, is that you don't have to wait for certain things: the fireworks to start, for instance, or a nice sunset. Lili Dans was at Second Beach the other night, at the end of another spectacular day just minutes before an afore-mentioned sunset. It is a good time in the evening to take a photograph of a back-lit, silhouetted figure at the water's edge - plus there is a 50/50 chance that we've got some rückenfigur happening here. It's kind of hard to tell.

Here is Vancouver - Second Beach.
