If you’ve been anywhere near Pacific Boulevard or the Georgia viaduct over the past couple of days you may have noticed (in fact there’s no way you DIDN’T notice) thousands of pallets on the ground of that chunk of land on the northeast corner of False Creek. You probably also noticed SOLEfood boxes with soil in them on top of those pallets.

They’re not officially doing media interviews right now so I can’t tell you anything that was discussed after I noticed them this afternoon and then trespassed onto the property, scaling a stack of pallets to shoot the above photo for you, but stay tuned in the coming days. We’re going to bring you the fine details of what is very obviously something awesome being installed on this paved space that’s been sitting fallow for a great many years.
