Once again, twelve local bartenders and mixologists gathered in one room to face off against one another, each with their own specially created cocktail for Made With Love's third annual mixology competition. These are a half dozen of some of the featured cocktails from the night: 1) "Jacobs Love Child" with Jim Beam Devil's Cut bourbon, stonefruit pit syrup, rhubarb lemonade, spiced cherry tincture from Rob Scope and Calabash Bistro.
2) "The Details Are in the Devil" with Jim Bean Devil's Cut bourbon, sweet tea, honey, cherries, lemon, bitters, and mint from Donnie Wheeler and Clough Club.
3) "Siamese Slipper" (media's choice winner) with Hendrick's Gin, honeydew cucumber juice, lime juice, green tea/green apple and kiwi syrup from Keenan Hood and The Keefer Bar.
4) "Walker" (public's choice winner and my pick) with Canadian Club rye whisky, syrup, and liqueur, lemon juice, barspoon grenadine, and bitters from Shea Hogan and The Shameful Tiki Room.
5) "Roundhouse Kick" (jury's choice winner) with Campari, Skyy vodka, mint, basil, lemon juice, chocolate bitters, and egg white from Mike Shum and Fairmont Pacific Rim.
6) "The Maruice Kan-Rhubarb Float" with Skyy vodka, vanilla ginger rhubarb syrup, soda water, strawberry ice cream, whipped cream, and cherry from Thor Paulson and Killjoy Cocktail Tavern.
