Local filmmaker Gregory Gan just released this interesting 6.5 minute look into the world of bicycle couriers in Vancouver. Phantom Couriers: Ghost in the Machine focuses mainly on Mark Huggan, the owner-operator of Phantom Couriers who likens his existence to "balancing life on the head of a pin". Over 2 months Gregory followed him and some of his team around with an old 16mm Soviet film camera and a rig mounted on a cargo bike and the final result is a quick and creative look into a subculture few are privy to.
