By now you've probably READ all about Major League Baseball pitcher Daniel Norris and his enviable lifestyle. A couple years back this Blue Jays prospect spent a small chunk of his $2 million signing bonus on a sweet 1978 VW bus which he's been living in during the off seasons. Not exactly a van down by the river; his Westfalia takes him on surfing adventures and allows him to enjoy the great outdoors and to reflect on life.
Here's a fun fact about Daniel: he actually pitched for our very own Vancouver Canadians back in 2012. He played in 2 games, pitched 7 innings, got 5 strikeouts, then he moved on. I asked Rob Fai of the C's about him and he said that "Daniel was here for a cup of coffee, as they say in baseball". He was a highly touted prospect who "came in, struck out five guys real quick, then moved up to the next level.".
