Let's kick this off by taking a moment to recognize how local studio, Here There are making Vancouver way more fun. Led by Lizzy Karp and Ken Tsui, I first heard of their events when I read about a Sensory Cinema night in which a screening of the Fantastic Mr. Fox would be accompanied with a tailored selection of food and cocktails inspired by the Wes Anderson film. Genius. I almost don't want to tell you about their events because I want to be able to get tickets before they sell out, but their awesomeness overrides my selfishness.

Now the duo are on to their next project - Round-the-World Showdown & Party - a night filled with a ping pong showdown centred around one round table and capped off with a dance party to Can I Live DJs. You can form teams of three that represent your local company, organization, agency, or whatever club you want to make up. The winners will win a pair of Tiger Ping Pong Tables, one for keeps and another for a charity of their choice.

If you're looking for something less competitive there will also be ping pong tables throughout the space with small prize giveaways and a chance to square off against a ping pong playing robot! Again...genius.

Buy your tickets now before they sell out!
