Today's dog featured in Dogtown Vancouver's Adoption Chapter is Roscoe, from Home At Last. Here's what they had to say about him...

NAME: Roscoe.

BREED: Lab mix.

RESCUE ORGANIZATION: Home At Last Dog Rescue.

OTHER INFO: Roscoe is a charismatic and joyful 6 year old lab mix. Roscoe became homeless over a year ago when his owner passed away and he was sent to an outdoor kennel shelter in Inuvik, a remote town located 200km North of the Arctic Circle. A shelter employee fell in love with this sweet pup and arranged with Home At Last to take him to Vancouver so he could have a better chance of being adopted! Roscoe is a friendly guy who craves human attention; strangers quickly become his new best friends. This energetic mutt would do well in a home with someone who can give him proper guidance as outside northern living came without a lot of formal training! Despite his lack of structured domestication, Roscoe is housetrained, neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. Roscoe's ideal home will be with a dog experienced single person who has one or two other dogs and a fenced backyard for them to play in. This sweet northerner is currently looking for a foster home as well as a forever one! Check out some more cute pics of him here.
