Granville Street Bridge

In January, 1889 Vancouver welcomed the opening of the Granville Street Bridge. It was 732 meters long and cost $16,000 to construct. The bridge lasted until 1909 when it was rebuilt with more modern materials. It was then rebuilt for a third time in 1954 for $16.5 million.
