It’s a crazy great week in Vancouver. The first ever Vancouver Mural Festival is all day and all night this Saturday August 20th. Not only will there be over 40 new murals up and down Main St, down alleyways and tucked into spots you’ll be surprised to find, there’s also some rad-as-f**k music, like party rocker Andrew W.K., rapper Shad, lounge lizards Timber Timbre, local beat makers Chapel Sound, and up n coming indie darlings Twin River. Just to name a few!
There’s also the long awaited return of Ponderosa Arts & Music Festival, if you want to get away from it all but still have an experience of world class music in the Interior.
Severfest is at the Rickshaw. Punk legends SNFU are back. Award winning Pugs & Crows bring their future jazz to the WISE Hall. And The Strumbellas are playing a free show at the Roxy!
Listen here to who you could be (& should be) seeing this week! Brought to you, as always, by our city's #KnowFun Selectors at Do604.
