Local Kickstarter Makes Safety Look Good

Whether you think it's the bike lanes or the congestion, everyone has got something to say about driving in Vancouver. One thing that we can all agree on is that adding a little extra safety to our roadways wouldn't be such a bad thing.

Whether you think it's the bike lanes or the congestion, everyone has got something to say about driving in Vancouver. One thing that we can all agree on is that adding a little extra safety to our roadways wouldn't be such a bad thing. Fortunately, local company LightMode has developed an eye-catching new way for motorcyclists, and any other helmet adorned commuters to stand out on the road.

LightMode uses battery-powered electroluminescent lights that you can bend, shape and customize into an array of different designs, ensuring that other drivers can see you clearly on even the darkest winter nights. LightMode Kits are compatible with any helmet, are water resistant, USB rechargeable and just look really cool. See their pitch video below or visit their Kickstarter page HERE.
