This weekend's massive David Foster Foundation benefit event brought boatloads of celebrities to Vancouver. One famous face was Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, who may have tried to leave a little piece of himself behind with his own hand.
Tyler, who was spotted at the opening night of Cirque Du Soleil's new show, along with drawing fans as he made his way out of the city via Vancouver International Airport, was reportedly seen inking his name on a table at YVR.
You can take a look at the celebri-tag in question here, where someone claims to have seen the deed firsthand.
A YVR spokesperson says their team is aware of the alleged incident, noting the ink in question was left on a countertop in YVR's international food court, an area the airport says they "like to keep as clean as possible."
Of course, that means the signature--whether it was the real Steven Tyler or not--wasn't destined to stick around long.
"While we can’t confirm it was him, we make sure to remove any markings in a timely manner," says YVR via e-mail with Vancouver Is Awesome.
The airport also has some good wishes and appreciation for the rock star, with a gentle redirect:
"If this was Steven Tyler we would like to thank him for flying through YVR, we hope he had an amazing time in Vancouver, and maybe next time let us know if you need a piece of paper :)."
