What began as a modest spot in Kitsilano is now poised to be six locations strong in two provinces, as Tractor Foods preps a fresh new outpost in Vancouver on West Broadway and their first Toronto restaurant.
In Vancouver, Tractor is moving into 601 West Broadway in the Broadway Plaza building, taking over the space formerly occupied by a Mucho Burrito franchise. Tractor is looking at a February open for the space.
Meanwhile, Tractor has recently revealed they are headed east, and are gearing up to go into 151 Yonge Street this summer.
Tractor is all about fresh foods served fast, in a casual but sleek cafe setting. The cafeteria-style ordering means customers peruse the menu while in line then walk their order through, choosing from plated salads, sandwiches, soups, and an array of mostly vegetarian salads.
One of the best things to order at Tractor is an add-on: Grilled avocado.
Although Tractor isn't strictly vegan or vegetarian, we can certainly add them to the growing list of veg-forward Vancouver restaurants that are expanding at an impressive pace.
