Taco lovers, the La Taqueria empire is expanding yet again. The Vancouver-based taco shop has revealed they are prepping to open up a new location, this time on Main near Broadway in Mount Pleasant.
La Taqueria has moved into the space at 2521 Main Street, in the former location of Miura, the "waffle sando" shop that vacated over a year ago.

Renovations are underway in the restaurant, with La Taqueria sharing the news to their fans and followers via their Instagram stories Thursday.
La Taqueria is known for their menu of tacos, burritos, and quesadillas, available in meaty or vegetarian versions.
In addition to their original location on Hastings, La Taqueria has locations in North Vancouver, on Hornby in downtown, in Victoria, and on Cambie at Broadway--about one kilometre away (a mere seven blocks!). Of course, if you lunch near Broadway and Main (as the V.I.A.-ers do), those blocks make a big difference in lunchtime eating plans.
No set launch date yet, as these things tend to go, but La Taqueria says they plan to open "soon."
