Yunqueen Rice Noodles which specializes in crossing-the-bridge noodles from the Yunnan province of China, will be opening in Vancouver in August 2025.

Robson Street will soon have a new spot for Chinese noodles.

Signs for Yunqueen Ricenoodles have appeared at the Landmark on Robson building at 1460 Robson St. between downtown and the West End.

The new restaurant will serve crossing-the-bridge noodles, a dish specific to the Yunnan province of China, which is in the far south of the country, bordering Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar.

In one town, Mengzi, there's even a festival dedicated to the dish.

Few details are available about the incoming shop, but it appears to be linked to a company currently operating a large location in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan.

Since mid-July, Yungqueen has been sharing videos on TikTok announcing the new Vancouver location's impending arrival.

"6 toppings. One legendary broth. Yunqueen Rice Noodles, opening this August in Vancouver," they share.

Yunqueen also noted in the comments that they will share an exact opening date soon.

In addition to TikTok, Yungqueen is posting on Instagram at @yunqueen_ricenoodles.
