Traffic can be seen backed up on West Georgia at Hornby in downtown Vancouver.

Traffic lights are working again at two major intersections in Vancouver's core.

Lights were out at the intersection of Burrard Street and West Georgia Street, and further down Burrard Street at the intersection with Dunsmuir Street near the Burrard SkyTrain Station, according to the Vancouver Police Department (VPD).

"Drivers should expect delays in the area," advised the VPD in a post on X.

Lights began working again around lunchtime.
