There's a brand new steakhouse in Vancouver to tempt carnivores for their next night out. Elisa, part of the Toptable Group family of restaurants, officially opens their doors Monday, November 5.
The long-anticipated modern steakhouse is located at 1109 Hamilton Street in the location that was last a Milestones outpost. Plans have been in the works for about a year and a half now to transform the space into a high-end steakhouse, focusing on wood-fired cooking and regional ingredients.
The 6,800-square-foot restaurant was designed by New York's Rockwell Group, and boasts a West Coast-inspired design and decor. The kitchen is being led by Executive Chef Andrew Richardson (of Toptable's sibling spot CinCin on Robson), along with Chef de Cuisine Yvan Burkhalter, Sous Chef Alex Hon, and Pastry Chef Rosalynn Vu, along with Bar Manager Katie Ingram and several other veteran front-of-house personnel.
The menu focuses on prime cuts from around the world as well as sustainable seafood (they are, after all, just a stone's throw from Toptable's seafood star, Blue Water), and vegetable-forward dishes, too.
Elisa is located at 1109 Hamilton Street in Vancouver's Yaletown neighbourhood. They are currently accepting reservations for dinner.
