Whether it's rescuing a cat out of a tree or helping a dog in need, Superman is here to help.
Or, Superman's son.
Actor Alex Garfin, who plays Jordan Kent in the superhero series Superman & Lois, is asking fans to help a show staffer's beloved pup.
"Help our amazing costume designer in her quest to save her little doggo," Garfin writes in an Instagram story, linking to a fundraiser.
The dog, named Miss Kitty, was found abandoned on the side of a road while protecting two kittens in Mission, B.C., describes the fundraiser. The pooch and her kittens were picked up by costume designer Katrina McCarthy, who has taken them into her care.
"The kittens are safe with this lovely lady, but their doggie momma needs medical intervention," the fundraiser continues.
Miss Kitty was previously used as a breeding dog, which means spaying the pup will be tricky. "This is complicated by a blocked airway, her palate will need to be removed so she can breathe properly," the fundraiser adds.
The two surgeries cost $7,500 and need to happen soon due to the dog's health.
"Anything you can give to help us care for Miss Kitty is greatly appreciated," continues the campaign description.
Last year, Garfin was spotted performing his first solo singing gig at a local pub.
