Superheroes aren't an uncommon sight in Vancouver, nor the rubble left behind after their epic battles with villains. On film sets, of course.
Vancouverites frequently spot caped heroes and run into celebrities around the city, from Superman (recently seen on an art gallery rooftop) to the Flash.
Last night (Oct. 21), The Flash transformed Vancouver's Queen Elizabeth Theatre into Central City Theatre. Several Vancouverites spotted the lead character, Barry Allen, played by Grant Gustin, in donning his red superhero costume.
The popular CW show is in town filming the fourth episode of the show's ninth season.
The scene is supposed to be a fight between Flash and Red Death.
The Flash is about a superhero who assumes his awesome powers after being struck by lightning. IMDb.com explains how the protagonist "Barry Allen wakes up from his coma to discover he's been given the power of super speed, becoming the next Flash, fighting crime in Central City."
