Vancouver has the best beaches period... ok... maybe not in the whole world, but when it comes to city beaches, I bet we do have the best beaches.
Kits beach is pretty much ground zero for beaches in Vancouver. On a sunny weekend, or even on a sunny afternoon, the place is chalk full of Vancouver's finest... and then there's me...
On a cloudy day, the beach is a mellow place to take a stroll through, or to relax at and sit and read a book, take a snooze, work on some sketches...
The place is really beautiful. Crazy beautiful, and is easily accessible from most points in Vancouver. A must to take your out of towners to see when they come and visit. Rub it in! We do rule it!
As well, the concession stand in one fine looking west coast building... I wanted to buy something just because of the look of the place.
