The Bike the Night ride raises money for HUB Cycling’s work and completes a 10 km ride around the Vancouver seawall as the sun sets on September 14, 2024.

Vancouverites are invited to join a fun night cycling event around the seawall.

The Bike the Night ride raises money for HUB Cycling’s work and completes a 10-kilometre ride around the seawall as the sun sets.

Tickets for participants also include access to the pre-ride celebration which starts at 5 p.m. in David Lam Park. The event will feature live music, games, food trucks, an e-cargo bike showcase, bike tune-ups, bike decorating, and giveaways.

Participants also get $2 off Aquabus tickets (bikes allowed), relief on an Aquabus boat if they are unable to complete the ride, and on-road mechanical support during the ride.

The ride will see 800 riders complete the course in two waves (one at 6:30 p.m. and one at 8:30 p.m.) and prizes are given for the best costumes. People in past years typically rock plenty of illuminated accessories to light up their night ride.

Mobi by Rogers will also supply a free 120-minute ride on their Classic Bikes for people without bikes.
