It might still be winter but it's already time to start planning for one of Vancouver's tastiest days of the year, which happens every summer in the city.
Brewery & The Beast, the ultimate afternoon of unabashed feasting and drinking at Vancouver's best food festival, will return on July 9, 2023.
The event - which calls itself the "damn fine festival of meat, beer, and music" - will once again be held on the expansive grounds of Concord Pacific Place from noon to 4 p.m., giving you four hours for eating your fill of food - primarily meat - cooked outdoors by expert local chefs and served alongside tasty beers, wines, ciders, and soft drinks.
Launched in 2012, the 19+ event will also boast live entertainment showcasing local musical acts.
Considered an absolute must for omnivore food fans, this top-tier fest typically - and deservedly - sells out. It's well-run, with plenty of shade for the summer sun, lots of tables, attentive staff, and more food than you can possibly eat.

New additions are being made to the already-stellar line-up as the event date approaches.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on April 1, 2023 (no fooling!).
Each year partial proceeds from the event go to organizations that work to grow the culinary industry and support local culinary-focused initiatives, such as the Chefs' Table Society of BC.
