From Easter events to a cooking class, there's something for everyone this weekend in Richmond.
1. Canadian coin event
Friday, April 18 to Sunday, April 20 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Aberdeen Centre Post Office inside Oomomo
Aberdeen Centre's Canada Post is hosting the Classic Revival Coins event where there will be limited edition Canadians coins on sale during the long weekend.
2. Long weekend party at Buck & Ear
Friday, April 18 from 9 p.m. until close
Buck & Ear, 12111 Third Ave.
A night of music, drinks and good vibes at the long weekend party is being held at the Buck & Ear as part of its month-long pre-closing celebration.
Buck and Ear will also have late-night happy hour food.
3. Easter at the Cannery
Friday, April 18 to Sunday, April 20
Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site, 12138 Fourth Ave.
Crafts, story time and a salmon-themed scavenger hunt are offered during the Easter long weekend. Recommended for youth ages 2 to 6 years old, but all ages welcome.
Tickets are $6.50 for youth and $9.50 for adults. Free admission for society members and discovery pass holders
4. Indoor archery championships
Saturday, April 19 to Sunday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Richmond Curling Rink, 5540 Hollybridge Way.
About 150 archers from across British Columbia will gather in Richmond this weekend for the 2025 B.C. Indoor Archery Championships.
The event is open to the public for free to visit and watch archers compete in barebow, Olympic recurve and compound bow categories this weekend.
5. Easter Eggstravaganza
Sunday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Richmond Pentecostal Church, 9300 Westminster Hwy.
To celebrate the Easter long weekend, Richmond Pentecostal Church is hosting a family-friendly day of activities, free food and an Easter egg hunt for all ages.
6. Bunny Bonanza Easter Party
Sunday, April 20, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Aberdeen Centre, central atrium
Meet and greet Alice and the white rabbit for photos, magic show, balloon fun and face painting in this free Easter long weekend activity.
7. Make fresh ravioli
Sunday, April 20, from 3 to 5 p.m.
The Canadian Brewhouse, 4755 McClelland Rd.
Join Chef Chris in a cooking class to make fresh Italian cheese ravioli and homemade marinara sauce from scratch.
