Canadian supermodel Coco Rocha visited Vancouver to show her kids around her hometown.

While Vancouver sees many famous visitors, it's not everyday that the city welcomes home world-renowned industry icons.

Even those unfamiliar with the world of fashion may recognize the name Coco Rocha.

The ubiquitous model was one of the first "digital" supermodels and earned the nickname "Queen of Pose" thanks to her remarkable ability to strike one creative pose after another in the blink of an eye. Rocha has been seen on numerous Vogue covers and was a judge on reality modelling show The Face next to other supermodels Naomi Campbell and Karolina Kurkova.

Rocha, who's real name is Mikhaila Rocha, was discovered by a modelling scout at an Irish dancing competition. At that time she still lived in Vancouver.

The model recently visited her hometown with her kids Ioni, Iver, and Iley.

"This is where mommy grew up," she says in a video shared to Instagram on Aug. 25. "Am I not lucky I grew up here? It's kind of gorgeous."

Locals can spot the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Steveston Village in the video montage of their visit, along with the building where Rocha began Irish dancing.

Other famous Vancouverites have also paid a visit to their hometown recently, from Stranger Things star Finn Wolfard to rapper bbno$ (Baby No Money).
