Coldplay's first Vancouver concert was one for the books for many fans.
The popular band had several surprises for their sold-out show, including opening the night with a First Nations land acknowledgement.
Both performances on Sept. 22 and Sept. 23 are Coldplay's only concerts in Canada on their worldwide tour, and feature a string of opening acts; H.E.R., 070 Shake, and Bobby Gonz.
During Coldplay's performance, which looked like a sky full of stars thanks to glow-in-the-dark concert bracelets and cool lighting, the band brought out Bryan Adams as a surprise guest.
