This week on the V.I.A. Podcast we find out what's going on at Canada's first and only craft brewing collective--starting with what the heck that even means.
We've got Stephen Smysnuik, the Marketing Director, of Craft Collective, and Evan Doan, of Doan's Craft Brewing, in the house (with some beers!) to talk about the shifts in the Vancouver craft beer scene over the past couple of years, and how Doan's is making a radical move to keep things brewing. These guys really love beer, and really know their stuff, so it's a fun convo with lost of great info.
Before they crack open their cold ones, though, Bob and Lindsay talk about Bob's visit to a massive cannabis grow-up in Metro Vancouver, and some cool 1971 Super-8 footage of Vancouver that a Reddit user found in a local Value Village.
Plus there's the eyebrow-raising 1950s forest fire prevention sign that used to be in Manning Park, and an eyebrow-raising new bar and restaurant in town called Hail Mary's, that's got a Catholicism theme.
