Nas, the Wu-Tang Clan, and De La Soul will join forces on Monday, Oct. 16 in Vancouver for a very New York hip-hop concert.
The Wu-Tang Clan & Nas: NY State Of Mind Tour kicks off at 8 p.m. at Rogers Arena, offering fans the opportunity to see three beloved old-school acts.
American Rapper Nas is considered by many to be one of the best rappers of all time, known for his impressive lyrics and long-time feud with Jay-Z. His debut studio album, Illmatic (1994) is one of the most celebrated hip-hop albums of the 90s, and he won a Grammy for his 12th studio release, King's Disease (2020).
The Wu-Tang Clan has released seven gold and platinum studio albums with worldwide sales of more than 40 million albums. With the release of their debut album in 1993 songs like “C.R.E.A.M and “Protect Ya Neck” introduced hip-hop pioneer, The RZA, as a ground-breaking hip-hop craftsman.
With over 25 years of innovative beats, clever lyricism, and dynamic personalities, they have become one of the most beloved acts in hip-hop of all time.
Hip-hop group De La Soul hails from New York and set themselves apart with their eclectic beats, "goofy humour," and "gentle" style. Their debut album launched in 1989 to critical acclaim, according to Apple Music.
