Owen Wilson dined at Zarak Vancouver on Main while filming an Apple TV comedy in July 2024.

Hollywood funnyman Owen Wilson dined at a popular Vancouver restaurant over the weekend.

Zarak, an Afghani restaurant and cafe specializing in brunch, cocktails, and street food, served the American actor at their Main Street location on Sunday, July 14.

The restaurant shared a picture on its Instagram account of Wilson wearing a baseball cap with his blonde locks poking up from underneath. The caption reads: "Thanks for joining us, Owen Wilson."

Scores of people commented on the image, with many of them simply commenting, "Wow!"

Wilson said "Wow!" in his feature film debut, Bottle Rocket, and the phrase has been associated with the actor ever since. It was also the caption the Vancouver Canucks used when the franchise shared a photo of him attending Game 7 against the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Arena on May 20.

The Wedding Crashers star is in Vancouver filming a new Apple TV golf comedy about an ex-professional golfer who gets fired from his job and "hedges his bets entirely on troubled 17-year-old golf phenom," according to Hollywood North Buzz.

North Shore Studios commenced filming on May 29 in Vancouver and continues through the summer.

Wilson was spotted at another popular Main Street restaurant, Maizal, which specializes in Mexico City street food.

This isn't Zarak's first time hosting stars, either. Actors and crew from The Last of Us dined at the popular spot in January.

The Van Mag Restaurant Awards recently awarded Zarak as the runner-up (silver) for Best Middle Eastern at its annual awards.
