Hands up who loves China Creek! Seriously, this place is near ground zero for skateboarding in Vancouver... and for the longest time, it did look like ground zero.
A couple of years ago, the city went about seeing what people wanted done with the park. After a long drawn out public consultation, the city found out that some wanted it gone, some wanted it redone, and most wanted the whole place to be fixed up, and made a place for everyone.
Located right off of Broadway, at the corners of East 10th and Keith , China Creek park is a place where you can roll around, bring the family, have a picnic in the sun, and admire the community garden.
The place now looks awesome!
