This morning Reebok and The BC Lions unveiled a new jersey in a CFL-wide launch of new designs. While it might look similar to jerseys of the past, what you don't see in this image below is that it's been reengineered with technological advances that offer enhanced elasticity and moisture resistance. It's also lighter and more fitted, offering a greater range of motion and movement to players.
The version that you can buy (and, full disclosure, the one they're sending us) is the Premier fan jersey which was "inspired by the on field jersey but has more of a lifestyle fit so fans can go from the stadium straight to their favourite sports bar without feeling the need to change".
From now until Monday, May 7 they're only available on CFLshop.ca and BCLions.com. Starting Tuesday, May 8, they'll also be available at Sport Chek, Sports Experts, River City Sports, Jersey City Canada and other select retailers.
