Vancouver's Ryan Reynolds gave the internet another glimpse at his witty 'bromance' with Hugh Jackman in a "zero sarcasm" shoutout.
The actor took took to social media after Jackman jokingly asked the Academy to not nominate the song "Good Afternoon" from Reynolds' recent holiday movie Spirited (where he dances and sings alongside Will Ferrell) for the Best Original Song Oscar, reports People.
Reynolds addresses the Academy in his own video, where he submits his friend "for Hugh-r consideration."
"You know last week Hugh Jackman lovingly asked the Academy to not vote for our song 'Good Afternoon' in the Best Song category, and well, I'm not going to stoop to that level," Reynolds starts off.
"I'm going to rise to the occasion and rise above it all and say right now that I loved Hugh's performance in The Son. There's zero sarcasm here. No wink, wink, nudge, nudge."
The actor continues on to praise Jackman's performance, saying that it is "literally one of the best of his entire career, and his career is very impressive already" and "humbly" submits him for the Academy Award for Best Actor.
The video doesn't stop recording after Reynolds reaches out to shut off the camera, which tumbles. In the last few seconds, the actor can be heard saying "Wolverine and Deadpool? Who's he kiddin'? Not on your life, Chappie."
The new Deadpool movie will supposedly see Hugh Jackman's return as his more notable character, The Wolverine.
Best Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman 'bromance' moments
This isn't the first time the two actors have showcased their friendship on the internet.
Last year, the actors shared a wholesome video as part of a viral TikTok trend.
There is also that unforgettable holiday prank that Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal pulled on Reynolds, which involved a one-person ugly Christmas sweater party.
It seems that Reynolds still has that ugly sweater, since he wore it again for a sarcastic charity video. Except, the sweater had Seth Rogen's voice.
