For local fans asking Sabrina Carpenter to "Please, Please, Please" return there's some good news: the former Disney star and rising pop singer has booked another trip to Vancouver.
After spending time opening for Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour, the pop star is coming to Vancouver a month before Swift with a show at the Pacific Coliseum on Monday, Nov. 4.
The Short n' Sweet Tour was announced on June 20 with 30 shows across North America; three are in Canada. The tour is in support of the 25-year-old's upcoming sixth album of the same name, dropping in August.
Carpenter, the niece of Bart Simpson's voice actor (Nancy Cartwright), began acting as a child and played the main character in the Boy Meets World-sequel series Girl Meets World.
While she's been making music for years, 2023 was a big year for the "Espresso" singer; she played the PNE Forum in April last year, which holds about 3,900 people. The Pacific Coliseum holds about 17,500. Prior to that gig, she was at the 1,280-seat Vogue Theatre in 2017.
A presale starts Tuesday, June 25 at 10 a.m. in Vancouver. The general public gets access on June 28.
