Vancouver rap music fans were in for a trip down memory lane last night.
Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa kicked off their High School Reunion Tour at Rogers Arena on Friday (July 7) with a touching tribute to icons and famous rappers that have passed away.
During the concert, Wiz Khalifa performed "See You Again," which was commissioned for the soundtrack of Furious 7 as a tribute to Fast & Furious actor Paul Walker, in front of a backdrop displaying photos of the late legends.
Throughout the song, the tribute honoured Paul Walker, basketball player Kobe Bryant, and rap music icons Nate Dogg, MF Doom, ASAP Yams, Juice Wrld, Takeoff, Pop Smoke, XXXTentacion, DMX, and Mac Miller among many others.
The rapper duo is set to make stops around the United States, with only one other Canadian performance in Toronto, along their 33-city tour which will feature special guests Too $hort, Warren G, Berner, and DJ Drama.
