All aboard the legendary Stanley Park Ghost Train for another spooky ride into a land of thrilling imagination.
Inspired by Halloween and spooky tales, the Ghost Train's theme this year is called 'Alice in Nightmareland,' and it runs from Oct. 11-31 in beautiful Stanley Park.
Riffing on the beloved Lewis Carroll tale, for this year's spooktacular event it's an older Alice who has fallen down the rabbit hole and ends up wandering through a graveyard on Halloween night.
Riders can follow Alice and the Not-So-White Rabbit through an endless series of stone doors and enter into a gothic nightmare world of tombs and tombstones, crypts, and catacombs.
For the brave big kids and grown-ups, evening rides feature live performers and plenty of scary thrills, while the matinee train promises a "fright-free experience" for the littles. Plus, in the plaza and farmyard you'll find crafts and movies, a pumpkin patch, food vendors, and exhibits by the Stanley Park Ecology Society.
Tickets are available online, with select days featuring money-saving options. Trains run rain or shine, and parking on-site is free.
