Have you ever seen the "Windy" series of children's books? They're made here in Vancouver for Simply Read Books, and the second book in the series, "Sunny" was nominated for a BC Governor General award. The books come with CDs featuring local musicians including Dan Bejar of Destroyer, Nick Krgovich and Larissa Loyva. That's the background. The latest Windy news if that the newest book in the series, "Foggy", has just been released with a CD featuring Larissa Loyva and Chris Harris and music by cowbell (Brady Cranfield), and you can enter to win copies of it over at the brand new Windy blog, HERE.
The book is carried by Dandelion Kids, Kidsbooks, Eugene Choo and Hip Baby amongst others... so if you don't win it's easy enough to find, and you should definitely check out the others in this series.
