Believe it or not Vancouverites have only one to two weeks left to hit up local strawberry u-pick fields! Last weekend I paid only $2.00/lb which is a lot cheaper than the grocery store and you can easily pick a few pounds in a matter of minutes. Not to mention, local berries put those weird, massive, tasteless California "strawberries" to shame! Bring a container (plastic bags not allowed) to collect your berry pickings in.
