Every month we feature a few kitties who are looking for their forever home. Today we have an adoptably furry BFF from VOKRA!

VOKRA does not have a shelter; they provide over 100 individual foster homes which helps to protect the very young from colds, distemper, parasites and other transmissible illnesses. In a home environment, cats are safe and well socialized, with lots of love and attention. VOKRA covers all of the costs and provides ongoing support to foster families.

VOKRA also has an extensive TNR program, which means they trap, spay/neuter, and work with community cats to control the homeless cat population.

Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association (VOKRA) is a no-kill, non-profit, registered charity dedicated to the rescue of cats in the Lower Mainland that is run entirely by volunteers with no paid staff.

Kenya the beautiful kitty cat from VOKRA

Kenya is beautiful and she knows it. She loves to lay on her back to show off her voluptuously fluffy belly. She is independent and likes to patrol the home on her own accord and adores a good invigorating play session. Although she is not the kind to make her affections immediately known very often by jumping up onto your lap, she is very happy to have you approach her with some pets. If you don't go to her often enough she will let you know with a soft nose-bump to assure you that it is time for you to pay her some attention.
