All good things must come to an end, and Vancouver Is Awesome is no exception. The fun and games of this little site have run their course for me and it's now time to move onto the next step in my personal growth as an editor.
Over the past year I watched this site grow (last month we had just over 53,000 page views) as it highlighted a bunch of silly things happening around this wet and windy city, but I can't in good faith just sit around and pretend to be happy about living here anymore. I didn't realize it until recently but deep down inside I am actually miserable, and it's because I haven't had a chance to talk about all of the shitty things that bum me out about Vancouver. I needed somewhere to vent...
So it is with great pride that I announce the launch of my latest project: VANCOUVERISAWFUL.COM
I will slowly be turning the entire AWESOME site into the AWFUL site, transitioning the content over while we put VancouverIsAwesome to sleep and hopefully some of the editorial team will join me on my new blog where I will talk about all of the crappy things happening in and around Vancouver.
Thanks for the laughs everybody, but it's time to get real.
