Now that November is upon us, so is Mariah Carey's iconic holiday hit "All I Want For Christmas Is You."
The singer really leaned into the "defrosting" meme this year. The internet joke humorously acknowledges that Carey's song continues to top the charts each year during the holiday season, joking that the singer remains frozen for the rest of the year and only thaws during Christmas time.
She shared a video on Halloween announcing the return of the chart-topping single, which features an icy vault with a clock counting down to the start of November. Inside, people dressed in Halloween masks are busy defrosting Carey out of a block of ice.
Vancouver locals were quick to react to the arrival of so-called "Mariah Carey season."
As of Nov. 1, Carey's Christmas single has already re-entered the top 20 on iTunes in the United States. In Canada, the song has re-entered the top 25 on iTunes.
