Vancouver's Pagan community is holding a free celebratory event at Trout Lake, open to people of all ages and spiritual backgrounds. Doubling as a fundraiser for local food banks and animal shelters, organizers ask that attendees bring a non-perishable food item or monetary donation.

Vancouver Pagan Pride is "committed to dispelling myths surrounding Paganism. Most Pagans live respectfully of nature, humanity, and oneself," explain organizers. "This event is meant to reduce discrimination and present the value that our paths bring to society. Emphasizing that we do not seek to convert but ask each person to Honour the Divine in the manner that best suits each individual."
At the event, you will find information booths, vendors, live entertainment, free workshops, and an end-of-day Harvest Feast. There will be tarot card readers, Pranic healing, metaphysical astrology, and a whole lot more.
