If you often find yourself walking around downtown after dinner, looking for a place to grab dessert, then you probably know all the standard options already. This city has a variety of gelato, bubble tea, ice cream, cupcake and crepe spots to tame your cravings.
If you're looking for something a little different, wander over to Chicco Japanese Dessert Cafe at 1504 Robson Street, right next door to Gyoza King. This tiny cafe's offerings include coffees, teas, cakes, puddings, marscapone, slushies and more. The parfaits are particularly appealing... Mixtures of ice cream, mochi, sponge cake, fruits, jellies and other seemingly random goodness - in a cup. Matcha green tea and red bean feature prominently on the menu, so if you're a fan of Asian desserts, drop by! I'll be heading back to try their special iced royal milk tea drink creation sooner than later...
