Need something to look forward to next month? Burger fans are urged to mark their calendars and budget accordingly, as Le Burger Week will once again bring 14 glorious days of burger-eating opportunities to Vancouver and beyond.
Taking place from September 1 to 14, 2023, Le Burger Week will have over 1,000 restaurants across Canada showcasing their most tastebud-tempting burger creations. Creativity tends to run wild during this epic two-week celebration of burgers, which means plenty of special and sometimes over-the-top burgers to choose from.
Now in its 12th year, the popular Montreal-based annual event has brought burger lovers together in numerous Canadian cities since 2017, when the fest expanded from its home city to include several more nationwide. In 2021, Le Burger Week doubled down and went from being a one-week affair to lasting two glorious burger-licious weeks.
Le Burger Week’s overall mission has always been to support local restaurants by increasing their sales and awareness through festival participation.
"I am thrilled to witness how this festival has grown into a powerful force of support for our local Canadian restaurants," said Le Burger Week co-founder Na’eem Adam in a media release.
Registration for restaurants has just opened up coast to coast, so as the event nears, we'll know which Metro Vancouver spots will be firing up the grills this time around.
Last year, participating Vancouver restaurants included burger go-to spots like Fable Diner, Bells and Whistles, and Blaze Gourmet Burgers, as well as several places serving up plant-based creations, which was the theme for 2022.
