The only thing better than tacos are free tacos. Unless you're talking about the combo of free tacos and eating tacos for a worthy cause.
Vancouver's Tacofino has announced they'll be engaging in Random Acts of Tacos to celebrate National Taco Day. On Wednesday, October 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. the Tofino-born taco chain's new pink taco truck will hit the streets to hand out 50 of their signature fish tacos at five random stops.
You'll have to track Tacofino via Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook to get tipped off on where they'll be doling out the delicious freebies, and, let's face it, you're probably going to have to act fast and be ready to wait in line. We're talking free fish tacos here, after all.
Now, if you're craving their fish tacos and would rather eat them more altruistically Tacofino's Vancouver, Victoria, and Tofino locations will be donating all the proceeds from sales of fish tacos on October 4 to Global Giving’s Mexico Earthquake Relief Fund. Random fact: Tacos taste better when you're eating them to support a worthy cause.
