The second location of Heritage Asian Eatery is officially opening their doors on Feb. 5, setting up shop on West Broadway just steps from the Broadway-City Hall SkyTrain station.
Heritage Asian Eatery is known for its modern, playful take on dishes like rice bowls, noodles, bao (buns), and chicken wings, along with fresh veggie dishes and fun desserts.

Taking over a large, 2,300-square-foot space that was previously a Chronic Tacos, Heritage offers a bright, minimalist interior with tons of natural light, and seating for 50.
The new kitchen is quite big, and includes some fun new equipment for co-owner and chef Felix Zhou - a "cheftestant" on last year's sixth season of Top Chef Canada - and his staff to play with.
The menu aligns with the original Coal Harbour Heritage selection of Asian fare, including XLB dumplings, a comforting bowl of dandan noodles, and fragrant rice bowls with duck, tofu, or pork.

They'll be dishing up lunch and dinner at the counter service-style spot, operating seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
While you may pass by and see the neon "open" sign light, the restaurant is in soft launch mode as they gear up for their official opening, set to time auspiciously with the Lunar New Year.
Fittingly, to mark the start of the Year of the Pig and Heritage 2.0, the new location will have a special limited-edition crispy pork bao served with kimchi and mustard.

Honing his skills of working with humble ingredients, Zhou has put together a clever, tender, rich terrine that is golden-fried and perfectly crisp--a great foil for the tangy mustard and kimchi and the soft bao bun. This special feature item will be available during the opening week for $5, with full proceeds from the sale of each bao being donated to the BC Family Hearing Resource Centre.
