It's a fictional fast-food joint but it's popping up for real in Vancouver soon.
Director Kevin Smith is bringing Mooby's - right from his movies - to the city he once called home back in his Vancouver Film School days.
Smith recently revealed that Mooby's was Vancouver-bound, promising details to come later. Later is now: Mooby's is in town March 8 to 21, but in order to get your hands on its burgers, tots, and more, you'll need to pre-purchase your meal "tickets."
Mooby's will be located at 670 Smithe St downtown and will be pick-up only.
Due to current B.C. public health orders, the number of people permitted on-site at any given time is limited. Guests will book a time slot online via Tock and can select up to four tickets on a single order. Tickets are $22 plus add-ons.
Each ticket includes a Mooby's Meal with your selections of a Moo Main + Salt Lick Side (vegan options available). Mains include things like a Cow Tipper (beef burger), Beyond Cow Tipper (plant-based burger), Rib'um Method (boneless BBQ rib sandwich), or Cock Smoker Chicken (a spicy fried chicken sandwich). Sides include "Hater Totz," onion rings, and even some Moo-tine.
Drinks (Mooby's Soda, Mooby's Vancity Lager), additional Salt Lick sides and yummy desserts are available to complete your Mooby’s experience.
Mooby's has popped up at around a half-dozen cities in the US and was in Toronto from Nov. 12 to Dec. 9.
